HERO Data Services is proud to have been selected by Automatic Data Processing to provide on-site installations and upgrades, as well as support, for their PC/Payroll for Windows® and HR/Perspective® products.



Upgrades and Installs

Hero Data Services has been performing upgrades primarily for the Great Lakes and other Regions since July 1998. We perform onsite installs and upgrades of: PC/Payroll for Windows® SQL and Oracle, HR/Perspective® SQL and Oracle, ESS and Citrix/Terminal Server installs. In addition, we frequently perform client phone support for installs and upgrades of: PCPW SQL and Citrix/Terminal Server. While we prefer to work onsite for Oracle and HR/P due to their complexity, we have been known to upgrade them remotely in a pinch.

Once assigned your case by ADP, we will contact you to coordinate and schedule your upgrade or install. In order that things proceed as smoothly as possible, we will review ADP's hardware requirements with you (or your tech person), discuss the specifics of your situation, provide you with some general upgrade information and documentation, and answer any questions you may have.

Please keep in mind that we need to schedule your upgrade/install for a specific day and time. This enables us to give you proper support. Because all technicians are "pre-scheduled" with other clients, we are generally not available at the last minute, although we will do our best to accommodate rush orders and emergencies.

About Us

Capacity: We have 4 techs dedicated to ADP work with our own "web remote control" and multiple T1 bandwidth. Our other staff are database and application programmers. There are several server/ workstation pairs in our lab for hosting conversions and test upgrades.

Company personality: Our staff have been hired primarily for their ability to cooperate and communicate with others in difficult circumstances. That being said, some of the techs we provide to ADP also have prior experience as network/citrix admins and some with extensive end user phone support.
