Goto

The Goto command is a quick way to locate, then jump to, a desired job. To use this feature, select File ->Goto from the top menu bar, or use the corresponding "hot" key, F5. This will open the Goto Specific Client or Job window.

If you know the Name, Address or Job # of the job you want to go to, you can scroll down the list of jobs. Note that your view of the job list will change depending on which of the radio buttons (found below the job list) you select: Name, Address or Job #.

Once you locate the desired job, click on it, then click OK. This will take you to the selected job. Clicking the Cancel button will close the Goto window without taking you to a different job.

Because scrolling down the entire job list can be rather time consuming, the Job field allows standard windows type searching. This means that typing first few characters of the job name, address or number will bring you to that job. Click OK to jump to that job.

The Goto feature also allows you to narrow your job list to a specific client. To do this, click the Select button located in the upper right of the Goto window. This will open the Select Client window, below. Like the Goto window, the client list will change depending on which of the radio buttons you select.

Highlight the client whose job you are attempting to locate, then click OK. The jobs listed in the Goto window are now limited to those for the selected client.

Click on the desired job, then click OK to jump to that job.
